Since 2006, Monica has shared her joy for music by teaching children, teens, and adults in private and group lessons on piano, ukulele, violin/viola, voice, and composition. She loves to explore the "play" of playing music and uses this as a starting point for all learning and exploring.

Monica's musical journey has taken her from the Viola section in the orchestra to a diploma in Contemporary Voice from Vancouver Community College, to singing Jazz with a Big Band, touring with Hip Hop artists and poets, and ultimately to fronting her bands.

Her passion for music is palpable. Monica has limitless enthusiasm for sharing her joy of "Do re mi" and helping bring music into the daily lives of those she works with. 'It's all about having fun and connecting to our voice.' says Lee.
Monica Lee is an excellent vocal coach.
She is a great singer herself, and she is able to pass along her technique with confidence and credibility. Monica also understands that each student is unique and is able to build or adjust lessons to suit each student’s individual needs, until she finds the approach that works best for them.
I took singing lessons from Monica for quite some time, and I could not have been happier with the results. My singing improved greatly, and I enjoyed each lesson, what more could you ask for?

I would recommend Monica Lee to anyone who wants to take voice and/or piano lessons: her passion for the art of music shines through in the energy that she spends sharing her knowledge and in patiently bringing the best out of me. In only a few sessions with her, my voice has gotten more powerful already! Ms. Lee’s is multi-talented, has a rich and powerful voice, and her original music leaves me wanting more. I particularly enjoy watching her bring a song and music to life through her gift of story telling.
